This is a compendium of information on three subjects:
 

Classics (i.e. Latin, Classical Greek and Classical Studies)  - my former day job
Yoga - my main interest
aYs Scotland (formerly Viniyoga Scotland) - a special subset of Yoga
Interactive Fiction (or "Text Adventures") - another leisure interest

The Classics section begins with a personal view on the problems confronting Classics teachers in Scotland at the present time.  (This "personal view" may perhaps suggest why my alias is "Cassandra"!).  There are also links to websites which I have found useful for information on classical subjects, with brief descriptions of each one. There are some teaching materials available for downloading, which are intended in the first place for teachers in Scotland, but which may also be of use to Classics teachers in general. The main problem with links is that they can go out of date very quickly
     
  2. The main purpose of the yoga section is to provide information on yoga philosophy.  This includes a synopsis of TKV Desikachar's Heart of Yoga, and a study of Patanjali's Yoga Sutra. I have added an annotated booklist and a selection of links to sites of interest, with some information on each one.
